Sowing is a beautiful poem written by Edward Thomas. In this poem the poet describes a day of sowing. It was a perfect day for sowing. In a good season the farmer ploughed his land for sowing seeds. He grained the dry soil as tobacco dust. He went to the field in the early morning and worked there for a day long. Then in the evening when the evening star was seen and owl's chuckling was heard, he returned home.
